At Sarisbury Infant School, we believe that even our youngest learners can help shape a brighter, greener future. We encourage children to look after the world around them and to stay curious about how everyday choices make a difference.

Guided by our CREW characters—Caring Carla, Wondering Walter, Enthusiastic Eddie, and Resilient Rosa—we inspire children to look after the world around them and to understand how small actions can make a big impact.

• Caring Carla encourages kindness towards our planet, reminding us to save energy, reduce waste, and protect the nature in our school grounds.
• Resilient Rosa teaches us to keep going, even when challenges arise, showing children that caring for the planet is a journey we take step by step.
• Enthusiastic Eddie brings excitement and positivity to our sustainability projects, motivating everyone to get involved and try new eco‑friendly ideas.
•  Wondering Walter sparks curiosity, helping children explore outdoors, ask questions, and discover how the environment works.

Together, we help weave sustainability into everyday school life. Our whole community—children, staff, families, and local partners—is working to reduce our environmental impact and make thoughtful, responsible choices. Our Climate Action Plan sets out the steps we are taking now and the goals we are working towards.
