Singing at Ancasta Grove

The Year 2 children from choir were invited to sing some Christmas songs at Ancasta Grove to get all of the residents in the Christmas mood. They have been practising so much and we have been invited back to sing again another time!

Christmas Concert at St Paul's Church

We were delighted to be invited to perform at St Paul's Church. The choir had been learning lots of Christmas songs ready to impress all of their families. We were overwhelmed with the support we received - the church was completely full! The children looked amazing in their Christmas jumpers and we were so proud of them.

Choir 2022-2023

Strawberry Fayre

Our choir performed brilliantly at our school Strawberry Fayre. They sang 'I just can't wait to be King' from Lion King which matched with our school theme of 'A Royal Celebration'.

Barnaby Bear Concert

Choir were invited to attend a concert at The Anvil, Basingstoke to take part in a Barnaby Bear concert. We have been practising the songs we were sent in preparation and came together with lots of other schools from within Hampshire to perform. We were even allowed to take our own teddy bears along for the journey! We had the best time and it was so magical to see the performance come to life, not forgetting meeting Barnaby Bear!

Performing at St Paul's Christmas Fayre

Our choir have been invited to perform at the church to open St Paul's annual Christmas Fayre. Due to covid, this will be our first performance there in 3 years so we are very excited. The choir have been working hard to learn their songs and can't wait to share them with our local community. This is our first performance outside of school this academic year. We know the children will make us incredibly proud.

End of year concert

Choir chose a selection of their favourite songs from through our year together and performed them for all of their friends and families. We were so proud of them! We presented them each with a certificate and a treble clef badge to celebrate their dedication to choir.

Choir performing at Ancasta Grove

The children were invited to perform some songs they have been learning as part of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. This is the first time they have performed outside of school and we were so incredibly proud of them! The residents were overwhelmed and showed tears of joy. We have been invited back for another session again very soon.

Choir performing at Christmas

Choir performed a range of different Christmas songs they had been learning to their families. It was their first live performance and they did an amazing job! We had such a lot of fun and the children really got us in the Christmas mood.
